Emergence is an installation of print work created using the blast etching method that was developed by applying experimental methods from the double-slit experiment to the printmaking process.

The fundamental randomness and abstract nature of Emergence are interpreted by each viewer depending on the perspective they bring from their own life experience. This work can be a mirror reflecting the viewer’s consciousness, but is foremost a living metaphor for the phenomenon of our own emergent existence.
